AquaPave® System

CBS Masonry Ltd recently completed a 15,000 square foot driveway AquaPave® System installation in Central Saanich.

We installed a paver which is eight centimetres in thickness, and underneath the eight centimetre paver we have eight inches of three quarter clear crushed rock with a top layer of bird’s eye gravel. We start off by excavating approximately 12 to 14 inches below grade. The first layer of fabric cloth is a Geotextile, which is your standard fabric cloth. On top of that we have the eight inches of three-quarter clear gravel. On top of that we have what’s called the SC1000 with an Embitex layer of cloth, which essentially has living microfibres in the cloth which cleans the water as it drains through the system.
